I have this Franco Belge stove and the handle that opens the door simply broke off where the thread starts. I took the threaded piece out but not sure what to do next with the handle: rethread the remaining handle, buy a new unrelated or find somewhere the same FB nice one.

See the remainder in the picture, please advise

Heat the end red hot and bend it oler to an L shape
Buy an eye bolt and cut away a portion to form a hook and mount it in a piece of wood from a fallen branch.

Do you happen to have a picture of one of these? A neat cheap idea/fix.

Here is a picture of the standard tool for shaking down, opening door, hopper lid, and ash pan handle. The hook has been worn out and bent to an L shape which is also worn.

The eye bolt pictured has had a portion cut away to form a hook, and can be mounted to the original tool or a piece of wood.
