It looks like you do not have a hopper in that model. Load to door opening and you can also slope to the back. The top door is for cleanout.

Yes, rotating the dial 180 degrees, manual operation can be selected. Best to use automatik though.

With the manual setting you will have to actually look at the flap to judge how open it is and how that relates to the number on the dial.
Use the automatic starting at a mid point on the dial and adjust from there depending on the heat output you want. Remember to allow time for any adjustment to take effect.

I would only rely on automatic. That is my experience with my Buderus. These stoves do not like being maxed out. Ash build up will soon be an issue.

Possibly a wood burning blocking plate /or some multi fuel stoves have preheating channels that help when burning bituminous ) gotta try to get an approximate year , the manuals are out there for free

They all have star/planet themed names , some of these have a full parts list and pictures so it may tell you the exact part name . Keep us posted edit this may be ( Uranus) I swear , no longer supplied but lots of other stoves have full list so read the other models to identify those parts
