Petite Restoration
Hi, not cold enough for the Sunnyside, so I decided to get that small coal stove to keep my hands a little more black , the only thing I found on it is: NO. 1 MICHIGAN 1851.
One day rusted and the day after no more rust. The good thing about those small stove is they are not very complicated to restore. Well very far from the Sunnyside's 100 parts .
I removed the rust, 2 coats of HT flat black B.B. spray paint, polished with a smooth hand brush to get some shine over the dull black. Just chrome paint for the supposed to be nickeled parts. If I keep it, it will be for deco only.
Oh-Oh, 2 on the right side and 2 on the wrong side, same file, same camera,

Thank you SWPaDon.SWPaDon wrote:I agree, thats a pretty little stove
Anyway, if I don't keep it these parlor/stove are usually easy to sell. Plus this one is complete with a heavy cast iron ash pan, the front covers and grill, the grate, the finial, the legs ...
