A Glenwood base burner for $225 in Gales Ferry CT. Back pipe missing. Look under eastern CT.
In the Hartford section under estate sale in Somers CT. Is a very ornate stove with mica all around. No price so you would have to go there but there are other interesting things like Case tractor, Onan generator, and gas welding outfit.

I took a look at the base burner and it looks like another Golden Bride similar to Nortcan's. At the very least it is in the same series of stoves.
Did you guys see the warning several lines above ?
I would take my time just to go look at that stove like Nortcans, disregarding the persons warning prices are inflated by "professionals" if I were closer.

I wish the AA was going on line......Last winter and spring were very, very slow for me work wise and I had to sell the AA.
The good news is that I have a new job and I am able to work as much overtime as I want. The company that I work for now has at least three years of work ahead of them.
At the moment I am working on a deal for another coal boiler.
If it works out I will post more pics and info......

The other stove advertised as a Glenwood No 6 is incorrect. That stove is a Glenwood Oak with a missing back pipe. It looks like it is in pretty rough shape. I would be very careful of that one as the back pipe might be very hard to find.
I looked at the one in Gales Ferry. Good parts stove- back pipe missing, barrel is totally rotted, Triangular grates and all of the hardware is missing, Top round trim ring is missing. The owner said it was “in wonderful shape & absolutely no rot or cracks” over the phone. It had too many parts missing for me to get involved with. It was a beautiful stove with all of the scroll work. If anyone needs any of the other parts, it is a great stove- could have got for $100 this morning.

The back pipes themselves (and jackets/barrels for that matter) are easy enough to find it's the innards of the back pipes that are damn near impossible to find. The cast part that divides the pipe and has the damper/valve to direct it. That puppy is very elusive.
