If possible when you can I would like to see photos of your Godin stove: front and inside...On the avatar the stoves looks quite big, is it?

The pictured stove is the 3721, the 10kw version of the Godin round. The fire box is 600 mm (23.6 in) high x 300 mm (11.9 in) dia. The stove is 940 mm (37 in) tall x 530 mm (21 in ) dia.
It was first installed around 1970, used weekends until 1989, then left abandoned until I bought the house in 1999. The stove pipe had rusted away, it was pushed into a corner painted with a glossy black spray paint and just sat there as a decorative piece for 10 years. I cleaned it up, moved it outside, put a piece of pipe on it and fired it up. Once it got hot the outside was literally smoking. After a while the paint turned to ash, I brushed it off and brought it back inside. I've been using it for the last 12 years burning about 2 tons a season.
I will try to get some photos and upload them in the next day or two.

Attached are three photos.
First is looking down through the top loading door. The front of the stove and access door is at the bottom of the photo. The shaker grate is just inside the access door.
Second is looking through the access door with the access grate closed. The shaker grate is in the center of the door.
Third is through the access door with the access grate opened. The fire brick lining is visible in the back. Also visible on the inside of the door is the flat gasket material held by the same bracket that holds the mica in place.
