The warm morning stoves do well with bit, a cabinet model WM is like a circulator stove.
The hollow firebricks are pricey if you can find them, should you need to replace them. Those look well worn.
The grate looks good in the extreme closeup, hopefully that's not a closeup of the only good part of the grate........
The ashdoor hinge looks weird, has it been broken an repaired?

I'm not sure.. apparently the original owner is deseased and their relative is selling this. All I know is what is in the pictures and that it was used to heat a garage. I have no idea what I am looking at or where I'm going to get the parts.carlherrnstein wrote: ↑Thu. Bricks would cost MORE than you'd pay for the old stove so don't get burned there. And like Carl said, If you can even find any bricks...they are near impossible to find.
Just looked again and bricks from what are visible don't look too bad. Maybe worth a closer look??

Alright.. I'll keep looking then. Thank you for the input. I probably would have picked that up and then have no idea where to get the bricks.

Alright. In any case your input is appreciated.. a square body chevy is expensive to keep gas in these days, so having a better idea on what to look for and having someone else's prospective on the stove is appreciated before going far away.

Though I do still wonder.. what kind of chimney connection is that on the back? It looks oval? What kind of connection would I use for that?

An update how things are going so far. I did get a new pot belly stove but I found that it's monstrously inefficient despite my attempts to seal up leaks I could see. I have to cover the top of the coal with ash or it will get the living room over 100°f. I've ordered a Mark 1 and plan on Switching stoves on Friday. Let's hope I can keep the temperature more controllable from now on.

Will do. The only thing left for the installation really is what dampener I want to use. I was originally thinking about using a barometric dampener, however there doesn't seem to be any available for double wall stovepipe. So I guess I'll either have to adapt the dampener to my double wall set up somehow or reuse my existing manual dampener for the new stove. I did notice that the installation manual discourages the use of a manual dampener but I'm not sure why, according to the other post on the Forum there doesn't seem to be any harm in it though.
