eBay has blacksmith coal contained for delivery to your door step. Other than that you might seek out local Amish coal dealer by word of mouth and then use bags or buckets of your own...

I would check with the Amish gent on Penniman Rd. North of 87 in Orwell. Can't remember his name. He's appx. 1/2 a mile North of 87,on the West side of the road.

Ok,Alzheimers has cleared! Call to check availability on these two sources for your needs:

That should be a link to Warner Bros on Penniman Rd. In Southern Orwell. Not far from Geauga County. Oh,they are North of State Route 87,not S.R. 322..
Also, more of a trip, but that's just how it is. Call Thompson Bros. Coal in Mahoning.

Best I've got! Mcgiev's hit the nail on the head with the Amish stop and inquire idea. They still run alot of Bit for cooking and hot water! Let us know!

I got some great quality anthracite from Pine Valley bolt and industrial.. they have everything you could ever want there.. anvils, tongs, old metal..electronics.. stoves.. EVERYTHING!! The coal burns nicely and even cokes up a bit! Pine valley is located on st. Rt. 87 eastbound.. about 6 miles east of where rt. 528 intersects.. the price was insanely cheap!! For 2 50 pound bags of nut anthracite I paid 12.50 including tax! But be careful if you go, since they only take cash or check. I highly recommend it! Here is a link:

Well good for you! Been to Pine Valley..It's a dangerous place! Seems money gets left behind, and neat stuff follows me out the door! We didn't know your forge was Anthracite Capable,as you were looking for Bituminous..
