I bought this furnace from Facebook marketplace for 150..this thing litterly had my basement to 100 degrees without even running it hard.. Seems to like bit coal I might try some hard coal and see how it does..

As well as this monster is doing I may shut down my upstairs. Rice coal stoker and get some duct work run to use this as my primary heat next season

Yeh that looks awesome. What brand is that? Brunco?

What kind of burn times are you getting? I can only get an 8 hour burn on but in the Clayton. I was really hoping for 12.

I can't find a single mark telling me who made this darn thing..

I'm playing with burn times now the most ive pushed her was 10 hrs and it had a fair amount of coals left.

Unless I get some vents run and make this my primary heat Source this is going to be more my back up or when it's really cold I have a anthracite stoker stove in my living room that does most of my heating but the missus has rods and plates in her leg and the basement being uninsulated gets kinda cold on the floors and it hurts her leg when it gets really cold out but if I can get the stove to where it last on just two loadings a day it would be cheaper than the anthracite so then I will probably switch you make that my primary Heat

Yeh my house has to have some heat in the basement. There can be 20* difference between shoulder temp and ankle temp when I just try to heat the house with a stove upstairs. Forced air has been the only solution so far.

I tried thermo siphoning and it worked until it got really cold the the floor was cold again.

Nice to be able to switch over to wood or anthracite at will also.
