Ooh that seems in really nice shape.
I’ve seen a couple for $100 on Craigslist, but none in that condition and most a long ways from home during this coron-y-virus. LOL!
Bricks in good shape?

It’s not too bad. Most of the flat firebrick are crack right down the middle. I don’t think that effects performance too much.
Corner bricks are still intact. They have a lot of build up on them. I think I can grind it off. I’m surprised by this because the grates are in extremely good condition and even still shines on the bottom side.
Oddly the corner bricks are only two bricks high where as on my 523’s they are three rows high. However the internal dimensions seem larger. I was a bit surprised as I just thought they took a 523 and put a shroud around it. That isn’t the case.
Sadly this one has the manual air control and not the bimetallic air control I was hoping for. It looks like it would be a fairly easy conversion though.
So this disease is progressing rather rapidly. This is stove number 15. I’m actually getting a bit worried.
Bad thing is I found another for $25. Just a mere 5 hours away.

So it’s not a 400 then, right? Not having the thermo? I think they had the thermo. Maybe some didn’t.

Keep after them Fig, I am glad you are buying them up instead of someone hauling them off for scrap. These sure were great little heaters, it’s a shame no longer available. Stash them away and sell me one or two perhaps in 10 years.
Artie does anyone know who bought the big lot of Warm Morning corner bricks you had listed last month at that jaw dropping price?
I had hoped someone here would surely scoop em up and divvy them out as needed. One Warm Morning I have here the bricks are nearly pristine... the smaller one the corners are starting to show some fatigue after all these years.
