I’m planning on installing another WArm morning I picked up. It will be piped into a internal chimney that has plaster and paint on it. Do I need to remove this from the chimney? There is no lathe they just plastered directly on the brick. I plan on putting this pretty close to it.

Yeh think I’ll try a heat shield when I can be home and monitor it then see what happens. I have to get some coal first. Meant to stock up over the summer but kept putting it off. Too many irons in the fire.
