I have a Condar Universal
bi-metalic damper I would like to add to my Warm Morning 523 stove. Does anyone know where the bi-metallic damper is on the Warm Morning 400?
I'm thinking it would go on the ash door vent.

Facing the stove, the auto damper is on the right side. The Bimetallic coil is mounted above the side door and has linkage that connects to the damper below the door. Mine is pretty much shot from age so I just crack the ash door damper when I need.

Rear right--facing stove--about 8" from bottom of stove--that's the way my HITZER is--can't imagine yours being much different.
