I'm new to the board, and I am looking for sources of coal in Idaho. I am in the SW part of the state near oregon, and after hours of searching I can't come up with anything other than rice anthracite at Tractor Supply at 7 bucks a bag, and I need something that will burn on a hand fired stove (anthracite rice coal definitely doesn't). I would prefer bituminous because I want to use it with my forge as well. Does anybody know if there are any retailers in my neck of the woods? I would also settle for Wyoming subbituminous, but I can't even find a dealer online that sells to private individuals, only heavy industry, and haven't seen so much as a per ton price anywhere. Also, what would be an expected shipping cost if I have to get it from out of state?
