Went and picked up a ton and half of bit from the same coal dealer I've been dealing with the past 4 years, this Coal seems to have different burning characteristics then what I'm used to. No where near as Volatile and less smoke , the ash is lighter in color no where near as red as previous coal ash. Takes some primary air to get it going and get the heat and it does not fuse together as bad as I'm used to. Dealer said it was Eastern Kentucky Coal. I'll try and get some pics

My brother who has mined poca#3 seam for 30 years says for bit it's harder than woodpecker lips. Just getting the stove and routine down is a little different.

Charged the Warm Morning up around 5.00 pm ,put the poker to it around 8.00pm. This coal has white ash to it and less tending then what I'm used to. If you look close at the chimney's in the stove it has some blue's

If it can fit through the door it goes. I try and put it in easy not to damage the fire brick. When it's time to tend I'll open pipe damper poke it some then shake it down. I try and keep the WM#400 full to top of fire bricks.

Here's a pic of the chunks idling along. Close to a 100 pond in the stove.
