Stoker...a picture is worth a thousand words once again! That is exactly what I'm picturing in my head! I basically want to make the same just maybe try and take the homemade approach. Unless maybe I find a nice cheap modine somewhere. I already plumbed the start of a new loop into the boiler this summer during the upgrades so I wouldn't even have to drain the boiler. Just pex out to the garage...put a modine or homemade heat exchanger in place and pex it back to the boiler. I already have an extra L6006C to set up the electric. Thanks for the great pic! I also like the chain hoist in the background. Made one of those for my dads shop a few years back out of 2 big @$$ pieces of u-stock welded together to make an I-beam for it.

That's an old Ingersol pneumatic. Leaks air, but works great.

take stoker man's setup but mount it inside forced air furnace ductwork and that's what heats my house. I bought a new 20x22" (or close) heat exchanger off ebay, it was $200 so not free but they aren't terribly expensive and it has 3/4 inch piping in it. Rated at 240k btu's. A homemade job would work but you have to watch to make sure it will flow enough hot water over the finned area to give up the heat you need and not send your efm up to high limit.
