The cool thing about the AG Coal-O-Matic is that the flat bed grate is fed by an auger! No hopper on this baby, and it seems to have an agitation linkage that moves the grate back and forth to make sure the coal is distributed evenly and the ash falls off the edge. The unit looks like a mailbox standing on its end, round in the front and flat in the back.
Can't wait to see it in operation.

Here it is mostly redone . The ash door reads Coal-O-Matic Trucksville Penn. I wonder if I could find some NOS parts . The grates are useable but could use being replaced . The motor although very quite I have to replace the wires coming out of it ,they are the old insulation and it is cracking . That is on tommorows list . The Sheetmetal jacket is in very good shape ,I may try to get that on tomorrow as well . This is a neet little boiler . I have to have the door opening welded and repaired a piece cracked out of it but I have it . It also needs to be bead blasted . More pics to come . If anyone knows who the dealer was down in the Dallas /Trucksville area please let me know .There must be parts out there somewhere . I may see if it is feasable to have a foundry make a new set of grates if I can't find any . Dave

I should have taken a few pics when it was laying on its side . The water jacket is a pretty neat design as well ,the hot air has to swirl around before escaping out the stack . From the outside it just looks like a tank of water sitting on top of the stoker ,its not . There is another plenum inside . Dave

Got it up and running today . Runs great ,better than I expected . It was a little bit of a pain to get it lit but once going it sure heats the water fast . Temps outside went up as well,LOL . Dave
