Ahh crap! I've got a hair over 2.5 flights sticking out of the tube for my EFM 520. Fairly certain the manual said to have 2.5 flights, but I went a bit over that. Now I wonder if that's why I make a TON of fines with this thing. Every time I pull the fines lever, I get a PILE of fines out of it, even after just 12 hours.

Do your pipes fit tightly inside the coupling?SMITTY wrote: ↑Sat. Mar. 04, 2023 11:19 amAhh crap! I've got a hair over 2.5 flights sticking out of the tube for my EFM 520. your pipes should be butted up against each other like this.
The should not look like this in the coupler this will cause grinding.
hope the pictures help you understand what we are trying to say.
