Wood Floor, new varnish and radiant heat?

We had our floo refinished a week ago. Turned off the radiant heat,we have a furnace also. But the company was sure how long before we should start it up.
Any thoughts?

If the finish is not fully polymerized in a week, it will never be. Turn on the heat.

Sounds good! It was 65F yesterday but 27F tomorrow!

Depends on the product used. This info is not provided.

Myself ? I only apply 2 part Bona urethane...can drag a tank over it w/o scratching..for long term coating needed

Or alternately, nitrocellulose varnish with carnuba wax polished on ... if you want a coating one can take off later, I go with this. Its harder to coat the floor and maintain but it looks spectacular.

Called the manufacturer tech guy and he said a week was fine.

Ah, OP had someone else to the re-finishing and coating

I do all that work myself. A large orbital sander is what I rent, not the drum sander type. Takes longer but better for DIYer.
