Yup, calling Steve Wilhelm is the best way to do this and then he can go through the boiler and replace the worn parts, the relief valve and gaskets, augers and tubes and be fixed to bring it to like new condition.

That exterior door has to come out temporarily too.

If the existing controls are intact and no tdamaged you should still be able use them-if not read below;

Based on my personal experience I will tell you to use Honeywell mechanical controls like the L8124L triple aquastat and a McDonnel & Miller Low water cut off like the water immersion type RB-122-E model as they are not digital and will let you sleep nights with your eyes closed. Do not let anyone tell you the honeywell L8124L controls are not available you can still buy them from supply house and others.

The EFM would have come with a L8124A. I am sure the "L" version would work, but it is much less common. I have gotten great deals on NOS units on ebay, but you can also buy them new from supplyhouse.com

Well I got the old girl out of the basement today. Ended up getting a hold of a guy that moves safes and he had a motorized dolly and we walked it up the steps no issue. Now I just need to get some parts and get it all put back together.
