Looking for the best circulator to run between the oil boiler and the coal boiler. Continuous use 24/7 for 5 months a year. Thanks

The best circulator is the one that is correctly sized for your application. How much flow are you trying to get and what is the total length and size of the piping?

As our friend Sting would say it "depends". Some circulators have multispeed motors,
it all depends on what flow rate you need.
The design for piping and circulator inlet and outlet size is based and used on one
common size for each pipe size for all manufacturers of circulators.
AS long as you have the correct inlet and outlet flange size for the new circulator it is
sized correctly for the piping.
If you have a multipass fin tube heat exchanger in an oil-fired forced air furnace plenum
for heat exchange that adds many more feet of piping to the system.
The existing circulator in your system was designed for that systems size and a replacement
in that electric motor frame size will work as well.

I have a oil fired hot water boiler and hot water baseboard heat. I was looking at a Taco 2400-10-3P pump for my setup.

A 3 gallon per minute Taco 007 F5 is plenty of circulator for your needs as you
will be exchanging 180 gallons per hour-2,720 gallons per day between the
two boilers when it runs.

That circulator is likely way too large for what you are doing. I agree with Leon that a Taco 007 would be a better choice.
How much heating oil do you burn in an average heating season?

I didn't have luck with the Taco 007 on my old coal boiler setup. That is why I am looking for some thing robust. Oil usage is 800 gallons per year.

Hello Farmer6,
Please explain why you had a bad experience with the TACO 007 circulator.
Did it have an internal check valve?
A circulator typically fails from incorrect installation which generally causes the
circulator to fail from lack of cooling water or age in operating hours or years in
service. My original Taco 007 circulators failed from 33 years in seasonal service.
