Finally just started the 130 coalgun. Been burning just wood in an insert thus far. Baby due in 2 weeks so thought i was done chancing if id have the boiler going before hospital time!
Every year im amazed how easy she lights..some hardwood charcoal, few minutes of torch and on its way.
Startup ash reading 45, house 56 and basement 52, hoping cold enough to run a few hours, radiator in basement worked well at pulling heat last year and getting good bed going.
Hoping my coal will arrive today, only about a ton from last year still...thatlk last at least a month though.

Well were at any day now, at least he missed rifle deer season!
