Just a follow up of my issues…. Tried blashack and still the same waiting on a manometer to come in so I have real world readings….. but in the meantime sitting with a stopwatch on my phone I checked my on off timer settings I checked they were set to “factory” settings…. So early this morning I made small adjustment to the on timer it was roughly 26 seconds every cycle and off time was 3 min and 8 seconds pretty close to the factory settings … so I bumped up the on/ash cycle to 46 seconds and off cycle is 4 min and 13 seconds….. my ash temp is currently set to 150 and idle temp is 180ish after a heat cycle…. I won’t touch this for another 36 hours or so until it settles in a bit and eventually back down on the ash temp in 5 degree increments over the next week…. And 0the pic is what I got so far since 7 this morning so it’s 7-8 hours of burning …. I’m not concerned about ash just yet until I see what the results are after 36-48 hrs…..

Fire height looks good. Nice work setting the timers.

Yea…. Later in the night it climbed back up high and this morning I came out and checked and it was back like it should and grate temp was significantly lower from previous day…. I tell ya what tho….. these things when they say need days to settle in the right way is no joke…. I will keep an eye on it for sure but today warmer and no wind… lol but I believe my draft is part of the culprit … manometer shipped today so I will have to wait to confirm if I’m right….
