Is it a Field Controls type RC with a collar? Per page 30 of the Field Controls contractor's guide the 7" RC would work on 6, 7, or 8 inch stovepipe...

Got the allen all vacuumed out and the flue pipes as well she is ready to fire up when I need. Hopefully the few odds and ends I change help my coal grinding issue that I had last year.

Nearing the end of my supply. It's funny how being a coal delivery man make myself get coal last
I'll be heading out to sherman this Saturday while my brother makes 2 deliveries. I have inly ever burned buck in my stoker but I am going to try a load of rice this time and see how that goes I'm not sure if I still have a grinding issue or if the coal I'm burning now just had a bunch of fines in it since it is all the stuff I shoveled off the concrete floor.

I have burned Buckwheat and rice in efm stokers and I prefer rice. less grinding in the auger.

I hope so been fighting some grinding since rebuild last year.
Hope it works for me, I have one last area where grinding could be from the pot auger tube I made I goofed up and put the seam right on the bottom so I'm sure that is contributing to some grinding. Next year I will get out the die grinder and smooth out the seam.lincolnmania wrote: ↑Thu. The EFMs have a smaller auger and pipes. The Allen looks like it has a lot more in common with the Gentleman Janitor than an EFM.
I'm glad you created this thread. It's given me some tips on possible problem areas with my Gentleman Janitor install. There really isn't much info out there on either stoker so this thread has helped me. -Don

I'm not 100% sure of auger size on efm but the allen uses a 2"sch 40 tube and a 1.875 diameter screw
