very simple and reliable, I might've only been half right on my previous post. fines in the pot seem to be about half of what it was. Once the heating season is over for me I will address the fines issue. I'm almost certain that it is being cause by the screw being to far in the gooseneck. I should be able to get that fixed in about 20 min after I pull the stoker out at the end of the season.

Good eye Isaac ! !

Not many Allen's left these days . Save all of them that you can .

If you run out of room let me know, I'll store what you can't fit at your farm.

How are you guy's doing with your new baby ?

Dave

I always keep my eye out for Allen's, I have plenty space to stoke stokers but I can't save whole boilers. We are doing well with the baby getting ready to get back to my coal delivery side business again soon. My daughter is 1 month old now.

Went out and got the stoker today the top 2 rings are in bad shape but the rest all looks very good, both the bin screw and pot screw look brand new. More parts into the collection. And of course I had to save the fire door as well

Those S400 timers are the best. You can flip the silver half moon and it will run twice a hour. Only thing i ever did with mine is put a small dab of grease on the gears.

Glad to see you got more spare parts! Good to have on these less popular units. Sorry you couldn't save the boiler.

A couple weeks ago I took my GJ boiler up to Scrapper's place. I took the augers with me because I had questions about them. He said my mystery auger might be from an Alen Stoker.

Take a look. If you can use it, it's yours.

Don, I don't believe that auger is from an Allen. There is no way that reverse flights could fit in the unit. I'll post so drawings of allen augers that I got from marks.

This year's project for the allen is building a false floor in my coal bin so the level of coal is even with the screw, getting the bin shoveled out now and evicting the water.
