Loop psi on start up?

how much water press. should I put on my radient set-up when I first fire up the boiler?

Standard full pressure is 12 psi, which is normally adequate for a 2 story house.

wouldnt the press increase once the boiler heats up? so you are saying 12 psi on startup?

It should only increase by a few PSI if your expansion tank is sized correctly.

Most auto fill valves are set at 12 psi. If you're not using an auto fill valve, be doubly sure to use a low water cutoff. You don't want to make a bomb if you end up with a small leak.
