I want to give a big thanks to Welder1186, Eric, for the quality repair sleeve that he sent me to fix my Axemans auger tube. The auger tube was wearing in the location that the bearings ride on. You can see the wear in the first picture. The next few photos show the new sleeve installed and the new bearings. This new sleeve is very nice and heavy duty! Eric also sent along great installation instruction. I had to make some adjustments to the chain and dog house. Other than that, this repair was not to difficult and everything is working smoothly! Thanks again Eric.

Very good! I also had a repair sleeve made by a different guy. I'm pretty sure the tube will out live me now lol. 😎

I made a solid ring out of stainless, about 1/8th thick, 1 1/4 wide, threw it in they key stoker till it was red and swollen, slipped it over the auger tube and held fast ever since!
