- Stoker Coal Boiler: EFM 520
- Coal Size/Type: rice
Came home to a cold stove. It’s not running , but was working perfectly. I switched over to my oil boiler. Normally if the fire goes out the EFM would just keep pulling coal. This appears to be no power to the boiler. Could it be a bad aqustat or a bad motor to the unit?

- Stoker Coal Boiler: Gentleman Janitor GJ-5, Van Wert VA-600, Axeman Anderson130 X3.
- Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
- Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
- Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood
Could have popped the Fuse? Your EFM should have a box that feeds power to it and that box should have an ON/OFF switch with a Fuse inside it.
Another quick thing to check is the thermal cut out on the motor. It should be a Red button, give it a push and see what happens.
