A hydronic loop (Secondary loop) has 10 feet of head, does it make any difference to mount the circulator at the lowest point or the highest point? Though not normally an option, it would be possible in this situation. I am thinking it would not make a difference but can't seem to rule it out. :annoyed:

High or low doesn't matter to the circulator...but I would mount it low. In the event you get some air in the loop it will end up at the highest point.

Thank you Rob,
I was not thinking about trapped air, where I was going to put it is where it will go (which was at the bottom of the loop).

Bottom of the look is always best. As Rob said high or low, the circulator does not care.
