What 10 tons burned leaves. The driveway will be happy when I fill the potholes.

Well the shoulder temps are here. I have about 2 ton left in the bin, and am starting to rake it hard to the center of the auger. Debating when to shutdown or order 1 more ton. Wish i had a hand fired to take up the slack. Hope everyone can finish up the season without problems.

Well thats the end of the season for me. Just turned it off. Soon as things cool off will begin getting it cleaned out. Thinking of putting a light bulb in it to keep it warm and dry. Any other ideas on this?

Disconnect the flue pipe so the chimney is not drawing humid air through the boiler all summer. The light bulb is a good idea.

Thanks Rob, I think this is what I will do. Fire just went out so all done this year. 11 tons for house and hot water this year, with house at 70 degrees on t-stat. once I grease the auger, imgonns order 5 tons while the price is not insane yet.
