Question about Axeman stoker or possibly any other stoker boiler out there. My Axeman doesn’t have a domestic coil. But it has an aquastat that uses the hi-lo differential. I have been running it 150 lo. And 180 hi.
Should I just wire this aquastat so it doesn’t just make heat for domestic hot water? Or just leave it running like it is?
From what I’ve read it’s obviously good for a boiler to stay hot.

I would keep it set up the way it is. It is good to keep a boiler hot. Helps with combustion, draft and keep’s the flue gasses from condensing.

Another vote to keep it the way it is. A warm boiler is a happy boiler, and if you are not running a timer the low limit helps hold a fire.
