Ahs260
Very curious of people who have this boiler and what kind of load they have on it… long story short have a 3200 square ft house with a 520 with 6 zones and an 80 gallon hot water heater circulating for domestic handles it no problem on 4 teeth feed…. Have a garage 40x30 radiant floor with 7 loops of 200-250ft down back with a k6 and basically it handles the load on just the timer keeping fire going….. I do have both boilers connected with thermo pex closed cell pipe inch in size in case I have to ever have to back feed a unit… This system is piped with 11/2 pipe with primary loop with and a loop for radiant and a loop on standby feeding thermo pex if need be…. The last part of equation is I plan on putting up a 44x72x16 pole barn with a radiant floor for heat….. so can a s260 handle all 3 buildings? Boiler would be placed in smaller garage because it’s piped with primary and secondary loops… I plan on yanking the k6 and 520 out and going with one centralized boiler … do I wait for a unicorn k12 or 15 to pop up ? Or look for an s500?

Assuming the pole barn will be reasonably insulated I would just keep the 520 and use that. A 260 should work fine, but you likely don't need it.
Spend the $$ on insulation and high quality doors.

I would stay with the 520 if it is in good condition. I have an AA130 heating our 6400 sq ft house that is very well insulated. Boiler cycles on and off and never has any trouble keeping up. I would imagine a 260 would have no issue keeping up with what you plan to do.
