Coal to oil switch procedure

Have EFM- 520 DF & would like to switch over from anthracite to oil for the summer, would someone please explain to me what I should do

I would brush out the boiler really well. Make sure the heat exchanger is clean so you maximize efficiency with oil.
There is a handle that controls the "shutter" in front of the oil gun. Pull the handle and look inside the boiler to make sure you can see the end of the airtube on the oil burner. Close the fire viewing door on the boiler and flip the switch over to oil.

Thanks for the info one question ,I think if I'm not mistaken I read something about leaving the ashes on the burner pot do I leave all the ashes on or do I clean some of them off?

leave the ashes on the pot. Knock off the edges but you want the pot's "funnel" full of ashes/coal.
The oil in the tip of the gun can gel up and not flow well if it's not routinely run every month or few. So if it doens't fire right up, that's one thing to look at. Also, if you haven't run the oil burner in a while, you should pop open the transformer and make sure the gun tube isn't full of ash. DAMHIK....
Do you have the manual? I think it's still avail on EFM's website.
