Where do you guys get parts? Need a new motor for powervent swg-5af. What’s the price? They seem really high online. My alaska dealer is never opened (no idea how he makes a living). Think I found one for like $300 and you have to go to the store to buy it, but way better than 500!

What’s wrong with mine you ask…well it got warm so shut down the stove for a week or 2, then it got cold so fired it back up. When I did this about 2 hours later I went to check on it and the powervent wasn’t working which killed the fire. Just makes a hum noise no fan spin. In process of taking it apart to see if I can fix it, but still want a backup on hand.

Thanks
Paul k

I ordered the one on Amazon. It’s been sitting in the box in the basement. Will install it in next few weeks. Also my repair on the old one didn’t work, but I now know how to take it apart, so I will be doing that yearly to clean it.

I just replaced my direct vent blower on my Keystoker, had the blower for a couple years, finally rotted out after 16 years. Up and running. I think I found it on amazon for less than $100.
