They protect pumps if you put them in front of them too...
Just valve in a dump line and you don't have to shut down either...

Good afternoon all! I wanted to follow-up with what I've had in the works post recommendations from everyone. I did reach out to Scrapper Jr and had a good chat with him regarding what I had and options. This is the result...
Out with the old - unfortunately the rear was soo bad and scrapper said it wasn't worth repairing/saving. I did give him the stoker assembly from the old one since they're hard to come by and mine was a left hand design. This is it being loaded for the scrap yard.. Now in with the new. Thanks to Scrapper for the "new" 1980 520 DF he did for me. He truly does amazing work! Yesterday we got the old one out and the efm lowered into the basement with the skidsteer and chain hoists. Unfortunately I ran out of time in the day, so over the next few weeks, I'll assemble it in place. I plan to use the method of 2x 2x8s screwed vertically to the joists with a 1.5in steel bar between them to lift it onto it's base. Chain hoists really make it slow and steady for moving these things.
Thanks again!
