I just noticed that I've been using the inexpensive Chinese timer for two years now... 2 years and just over a week to be exact. Still going strong with zero issues... Second best Mod made to my system!

Yeah this is a 60 minute model. I already threw the clock in the dumpster. I kept the enclosure and will get some DIN rail and mount one of the solid state units inside it.

Don't mean to raise an old thread but I'm glad I found this. I had two Hydrostat 3250 fail on my EFM 520 in 7 years. Last one only lasted 2 years. Both failures left the boiler stuck running. I'm not going try a third.

Same thing happened to mine, and I will save Leon the trouble of retyping what happened to his: Post by lzaharis - 2023 AA260 Install

I have been told that the Hydrostat controls do fine if you move the stoker motor load to an external relay. I am doing this on the AA260 I am working on and will see how it goes. Regardless of your choice of primary aquastat, you should have a second high limit control. Ideally it would be a manual reset type (see link below), but even a regular L4006A is better than nothing.
