While i was in the middle of cleaning the efm coal stoker i thought id take some pictures and share them.

I have a propane modulating boiler and the coal boiler sharing the same piping system , with some underground piping . I have to be careful as in the summer the mod boiler runs the pumps every so often for exercise. This has a unintended consequence with the underground piping (not much) of being cool. So if it flows through he fitzgibbons boiler and i have the draft pipe connected*( usually blank off) I can get condensation on the boiler in the summer. thats what some of the stains are on boiler wall.

boiler baffle hanger bracket in red enlarge for clarity behind the baffle is a shelf with the tubes you have to sweep the fly ash off as it builds up to the two inch thick level , I use a thin board to do it.Sometimes i get it hung on the first try and sometimes it takes a few more arm stretches to get it on. I do it without looking as my arms not long enough
