A dump zone is a workaround for settting it up properly the first time.
These big cast iron round boilers, full of coal put out a heck of a lot of heat!
It is set up with a gravity flow setup. But I just thought it would be beneficial to have the pump run also to blow off some heat.

It is ok to do so, but just remember with the triple aquastat, any time the tt is closed, it closes the relay for the circulator and also the burner (fan motor). As long as the the water temperature in the boiler is above the high limit setting the burner will not run. So when you run your hand fed, you could turn your high limit down so the burner will not run.

So with that said. Is it ok to put 2 different thermostats Into the same tt input on the triple aquastat on the axeman? Thanks!
FYI, the wiring diagram in the keystoker manual actually shows the l4006b and the thermostat wired in parallel at the TT on the triple aquastat... So it's a common practice.
