Hello Guys and gals . Find my first boiler and just wanting to know if its worth keeping. Looks like its in good shape and its a beast of a boiler . Can anyone give me any infor on it? I know it was in a huge building that it keepwarm years ago and dont know wht its worth . I was going to keep it and ifi build me a huge shop used it for the shop. Never seen one this big which I havent seen to many boilers. Any info wouldbegreat. Thanks

You’ll need a clinker puller with that winkler stoker unit! If you don’t know what that means... you’ll be pulling your ashes “clinkers” out through the Fire door!

It is a WEIL Mclain coal boiler with five sections.

A call to the folks at Weil Mclain is what you should do first to find out more about this boiler.
If you visit the www.heatinghelpforum.com and become a member of the forum you can upload the picture images and many of the plumbers will be able to help you learn more about it.

I am not sure if they still make parts for that Wil-Burt stoker but I would imagine the folks at Marks Supply would be able to tell tell you if the parts are available.

Yes, fairly easy and at reasonable cost. Simply change a few controls.
