After reading a couple of threads on here and going into year 4 of my stoker thought I’d start paying more attention to exactly how much coal I’m burning. Last few nights have been in the single digits highs around 20. In a 24 hour period I burned 2, 5 gal buckets. Heating a little over 4,000sf with a K6. Burning rice coal. Radiant heat floor in my basement first floor and garage. Upstairs has baseboard. Just wondering if that sounds about right or not? Any info would be great. Also using for DHW.

I am now at 40/50 lbs a day with a Keystoker90 stove hooked up with duct work heating total of 2000sq ft with no DHW. House is 72/73 in family room with stove, upstairs 1100 sq ft 69 during day 67 at nite. Also heating one car garage every evening to about 60. Hope this helps. Temps close to what you have the last few days.

Adam; That sounds about right to me. No two situations are the same but when mine is calling for a lot of heat, two five gallon buckets a day is normal.
