A buddy of mine just purchased a new Keystoker KA-6 for $ 5600.00. Hope to get it up & runin in next week or so.

Not yet but selling now would allow a potential buyer to watch it run and would fund my chimney. After having the boiler in the basement I would not want it anywhere else. My wife and I love how warm the basement is!

Lee I thought they were more like $7,000. When I was price checking about 12-13 years ago AHS was selling the 130 for about $4,500 and an EFM 520 was almost $7,000 back then.
Used “as is” can be an excellent bargain for the die-hard do it yourselfer.

You are probably right :) and yeah man getting one for cheap to nothing and reconditioning is the way to do it!

Keep in mind, every Axeman ever built carrys an H stamp. That's one reason they are a bit pricey. I believe the EFMs also fit that bill. The AHS has an extra cost of about $2500 for that stamp if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I priced a new axeman and efm for a customer 2-3 years ago. Axeman was $6500 efm was close to $11,000.
