One would think after 8 years I would remember everything about the operation of my boiler. But ....!
So today I had it shut down to really clean out the fines underneath the burner platform and I ran a drill bit through all the holes.
So I lit a fire as normal, water temp shower 100 degrees, but the fire seems to remain at idle.
So am I missing something?? I know I should know but...!
Thanks!

Do you have a low temp cutoff? If so, did you throw the bypass switch so it would run below 125?

Thermostat is set at 72. Low temp cut-off?? Now I really am having a brain fart!
Just checked and my fire has expanded.

Hello Kungur,

Did you remove the baffle plate in front of the flue breech
and clean the fly ash out from behind it??

Have you checked the horizontal runs of flue pipe for
fly ash?

It will take a while to catch up if you have done the above chores.

It is up to temp. It just seemed to take a long time. I did clean out the fly ash from those locations.
Thanks!

Hello Kungur,

Don't forget its cold out and that it is a huge draw down on the boilers heating ability and capacityon its smaller 25 gallon volume.
