Not sure what kind of stoker I have. I got it out of a guy's garage. He just gave it to me and many of the parts were the same as one I had before so I have extra auger and gear box.
If you have a stoker, spare parts and it burns whatever you put in it, why not just stick another boiler on top of it?

If you want to get away from the cast iron cracking, look for a steel boiler with the same size fire box.

clahring, I haven't been able to figure out how to reply to you about my Harman VF3000 for sale. I don't know what you are doing to get your questions posted under my ad, but I can't reply on that forum. You have not set up your account to receive PM (private messages). Left click on my name (tightwoods) then click "PM: Send private message".

He has a single pipe steam system and steam radiators
so it would not be useable for him.

Has anyone heard from clahring about his current steam boiler problems and whether he purchased an EFM or other brand of steam rated coal stoker boiler???

I posted the contact information for and about the EFM dealer in Michigan for him on the board here but I have not heard from him and his PM function is not turned on and I cannot contact him.
