Today as I looked at the burning coal in my KA2 notice that I don't have burning coal across the full width. So would that indicate that a number of the holes are plugged??

Holes plugged, too many fines under the grates. A lot of fines in your new coal...

Did you vacuum under the grates and use a 1/8" drill bit to poke out each hole before the heating season started?

Woops!
I am usually so good at maintenance.
Time for a maintenance shut down.

Good to hear that you did the stovepipes. Be sure to oil any motors that need it too...
