I'm afraid so. I got a little too far out on a limb for a bit there. To the extent that the next morning I was like.. what? I didn't post that
Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not a lush by any means. But once in a while I don't know when to quit hahaha

After running bread into stores today in the breezy mid teen temps I came home and said.. "let's click up that thermostat a degree (to 73) that's why we burn coal, to be waarrrmmm..."

That's our magic number also, any warmer and my wife even complains! I still shake my head every time I think of my Axeman! When does the giddiness wear off?

I'm a fan of 73 degrees but my better half would rather have it at 68 degrees, so we have "settled" on 70 for the living, dining, kitchen zone, and 68 for the bedrooms zone.

I'm wondering that myself.. I still sit in the basement and say wow
Mine seems to be hyper sensitive to the temperature. We normally run it 72 during the day any drop it to 70 at night. She'll complain that she's feeling chilled just before the thermostat calls for heat. (Blower thru water/air exchanger) I'm hoping that installing baseboard around the living room will slow down the temperature oscillation.

I’m good at 70, my better half prefers 78... so most of the time it’s at least 75..

Thought I'd do an Axeman update---
This winter so far has been a very solid performance. I visit Ruby at least once a day to peek at the ash tub and put 10 scoops over the auger end. I'm working my way around the coal bin. The repair sleeve still shows absolutely no wear, I cannot feel any bearing track on it. Other than that she just does what's needed without much assistance from me
