Hey everyone, I am looking for some double ended studs, one side has NPT to go into a boiler so that it can be water tight, and the other end to just have a common thread size for a nut. Something like the studs on a DHW coil on a boiler. Can anyone point me in the direction of some?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Good luck. I would get a schedule 80 nipple and tap it for a stud.

Axeman-Anderson stocks and sell them for their tank-less coil mount/seals.
They will send items by C.O.D. or you may send them payment first with a personal check by snail-mail and then they'll send them right out.

A good machine shop with stock steel bar stock can bang them out in minutes! Go ask a local independent shop in your area.

That's the direction I would be going, I'd up the ante and drill through the fitting and bolt and put a small bolt or cotter pin through it. If you can find some washers the same size as inside diameter of the fitting you are golden.

I reached out to axeman, they haven’t responded to me.
I guess it would help to tell what I’m doing..
My boiler has a 4” NPT plug where the dhw coil goes, I am putting a 240V electric heating element in the plug so that I can keep my boiler warm through the summer, instead of a light bulb. So I have to put the element in a plate of steel and bolt the steel onto the coil plug.

I get them from NAPA. Ask for 1/2" exhaust studs

Would it be re reasonable to use a bushing or two ? Might be easy yo undo or use different element later.

I use the studs from NAPA to repair DHW coil studs. Drill and tap using NPT tap ( 1/2" x13 npt I think) and use1/2" nuts to secure. They have all combinations of different thread sizes there. They might not be called exhaust studs either.
