I am looking for another intermatic timer motor as a backup, but they are discontinued and none to be found. The motor is WG780-12D, used in the C8835 timer. Does anybody know where to get this motor, or what other motor will work in this timer? Otherwise, I'll need to get another timer but not sure which one to get (perhaps Tork 8601?) Thanks for your advice!

If you have it removed take the motor to an electrical supply house and they will be able to tell you whether they are available or not. You may luck out "if" the new timer motors are identical and you may be able to just plug it in the mounting plate and the gear in the clock face.

I had same issue I used the motor out of a 1 hour timer that’s all my local shop had and it’s been that way for over a year now you just might have to move some pins around that’s all

Thanks for your reply. I ended up installing a solid state timer as suggested by someone else, though my wiring ended up being a bit different from his.
