I am having some radiator maint done today. Do I have to shutdown the boiler or just shut off the valves that feed the whole system. Any precautions I should take as well. Thank u all in advance. I love this forum !!!

It is all going to depend on whether you can isolate the specific radiator or not as to whether you are able to keep the fire going in your boiler.
If you cannot isolate the specific radiator and keep the home heated you have to shut the boiler down then let it cool and then drain the system down to repair or replace the specific radiator.
