Would you mind taking more pictures and uploading them? Is the flue gas flow on this EFM boiler a single pass flow or is it traveling through all the water walls before it exits the flue breech??
Now would be the time to measure the water wall width so that you can purchase the right size steel tine boiler tube brushes from McmasterCarr for cleaning it. you definitely need steel boiler tube brushes for it.

Hello Scott,
Did I miss something or did I try to make a mountain out a mole hill?
I have a beer with dinner sometimes and I have 6 year old wine to bottle. I will save you a couple of bottles when ever you come west :^)
Edit to add today 2/18/19: OK, now that I enlarged the picture of the water walls this morning of this EFM 520 boilers water vessel with it on its side I see that the water walls have a common opening on the top:^0
