You'll need to show more than the doors to help somebody ID that steamer.

That is a big Gentleman Janitor. Should have a tag on the stoker.

Scottscoaled has always spoken very highly of the GJ stoker design.

Rob is right, that is probably a big rotating pot Gentleman Janitor. They made some really big ones. I've seen parts from some of the big ones in Scrapper's shop. He has rebuilt them for Fire Companies, Township buildings and Churches.

Sorry, I don't know the model numbers of the big ones. Measure the diameter of the ash ring then Scrapper or Danny at General Machine might be able to tell you what it is.

Is this Gentleman Janitor boiler a single pipe steam system>

You could use a couple of drop headers in the beautiful steam boiler to make dry steam and reduce any chance of condensate causing problems with distributing heat.

I would call it the "BFS" model. (Big F***ing Stoker)

A little over thirty years ago our church took out a big Losch steam unit and replaced it with a pair of 520s and went to hot water rather than steam. The high ceilings in churches make them a bit of a challenge to heat.
