1,317 lbs. burned. 892 HDD's.
~90 lbs. for DHW
~1,227 lbs. for home heating
(1,317 - 90)/892 = 1.376 lbs. per HDD (for Lehigh coal, vs. 1.379 last year in November burning Blaschak)
No apparent heat value difference between Lehigh and Blaschak to date, as to pounds burned per HDD, and also as to ash generated per pound of coal burned. Slightly more mild puffs occurring for Lehigh. Same,Same, but different .... Lehigh 5 gallon plastic pails weigh roughly 2 lbs. more per pail vs. Blaschak. Lehigh pea seems to me to be cut a bit smaller than Blaschak pea, so this is perhaps one reason why more fits into a pail. ??? More dust and fines in Lehigh than Blaschak. Better local pricing for Lehigh vs. Blaschak.

My sample size is much smaller but I am on the same track as you. Averaging 5 buckets every 4 days, 43.75#/day, 1,312#/mo. DHW and Heat. 1234HDD/1312#= 1.06#/HDD
