Uh Oh! I usually go for my second load in January. And I believe you Jack.
It's turned unusually cold for this time of year.

Short supply usually brings higher price. I put 6.25 tons of Lehigh rice at $212.00 per ton in my bin in mid October that I hope will last all season. I started burning 10/19 which is a couple weeks earlier than normal. Due to the location of my bin feed I can't really get a second load during the season unless the ground is frozen solid. If my coal runs out before the cold weather does my only option is hand carrying it to the bin feed. Last year I did burn bags of Lehigh at the end of the season and then some oil to finish.

Yep, a TT load June 19 for me to. I have photo evidence that it was a sunny day. You remember those in the early summer. The sun was in the sky and I was shovellin' as you guys were watching the views on the beach. Boy, was that ever the right time to do it.

Thanks for that heads up. Notified my son as he is on the limits of coal availability. Better to buy what is available.
